Matching an 8 kW hybrid platform with 15 kWh of storage.
An 8 kW / 15 kWh residential package must be checked as one electrical system. Array current and cold-condition voltage need to fit the inverter MPPT inputs, while battery voltage, usable energy, charge power and communications must match the approved hybrid platform.
Backup design is a separate decision from self-consumption. Comparable Belgian projects should identify the circuits that must remain powered, their peak load and any three-phase requirement before the inverter and battery are finalized.
