The Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency has invited expressions of interest to empanel solar power developers for 500 MW of grid-connected rooftop PV on government buildings under the RESCO model. The notice is dated 1 October 2026.
Because RESCO places more emphasis on long-term delivery than on a one-time equipment shipment, developers and suppliers should validate roof surveys, structural conditions, metering, export limits, portfolio phasing, financing and maintenance access before finalizing module and inverter selections.
