Panamint Capital has broken ground on the 1.2 GWdc Big Rooter solar project in Robertson County, Texas. Its first 491 MWdc phase targets commercial operation in August 2028, with a second 658 MWdc phase expected to begin construction in December 2026.
A staged project changes the buying plan: suppliers need to reserve output by phase while keeping module, tracker, inverter and electrical balance-of-plant interfaces consistent. Transport windows, site storage and commissioning resources should follow the same phase logic.
Ask bidders for phase-specific quantities, lead times and compatibility commitments rather than a single headline quote. SolarXport can compare solar panel supply, utility-scale equipment and a project sourcing request.
