Entrix says German developer Purpel Energy selected it to optimise and market the developer's first battery project in Remscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia. The standalone system is rated at 5.15 MW / 12.2 MWh and is scheduled to start commercial operation in September 2026.
For buyers, the commercial layer is part of the equipment decision. Dispatch authority, telemetry, market access, response guarantees, state-of-charge limits and the division between owner, optimizer and service provider affect both revenue and warranty exposure.
