SECI opens 700 MW India C&I solar tender

SECI published a request for selection covering 700 MW of ISTS-connected solar PV projects in India under its C&I-1 tariff-based competitive bidding round. The notice was dated 3 September 2026, with bids due on 5 October.

For suppliers, the tender is a pipeline signal rather than a guaranteed award. Qualification, grid-interface assumptions, project phasing, domestic-content requirements where applicable and bankable delivery evidence will shape which offers can proceed.
