SECI lists a request for selection for supply of energy from 800 MW / 3,200 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems in India. The notice was published on 1 October 2026 and shows bids due on 30 October 2026.
For suppliers, the four-hour headline is only the starting point. The bid should make usable AC energy, charging source, dispatch rights, response time, availability, degradation and auxiliary consumption measurable at the contracted delivery point.
Ask for one responsibility matrix covering battery containers, PCS, EMS, metering, grid interfaces, commissioning tests, augmentation and long-term service. SolarXport can compare energy storage equipment, utility-scale requirements and a project sourcing request.
