Solar Energy Corporation of India lists an RfS for supply of energy from 800 MW / 3,200 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems. The tender was published on 1 October 2026 and lists 30 October as the bid deadline.
The four-hour scale makes this a practical test of integrator readiness, not just cell availability. Bidders should align battery containers, PCS, EMS, transmission interfaces, performance guarantees, augmentation and the operating model before submitting a price.
