Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation has published a request for selection for 3,000 MW of solar PV paired with 1,000 MW / 6,000 MWh of energy storage under tariff-based competitive bidding. The tender was published on 13 October 2026, with online bids due on 4 November.
For suppliers, the notice is a procurement signal rather than an equipment award. PV capacity, storage duration, dispatch obligations, grid studies, land interfaces, phased delivery and local execution should be qualified together instead of quoted as isolated hardware.
